Sean C. Doyle is a corporate attorney concentrating in mergers and acquisitions, securities law and general corporate law.

Mr. Doyle’s mergers and acquisitions experience includes public and private transactions; negotiated acquisitions and contested takeovers; joint ventures; and other corporate transactions. He has been involved in a number of significant transactions, including:

  • The Coca-Cola Company’s acquisitions of the North American business of Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc., Energy Brands Inc. and Fuze Beverages LLC and its equity investment in Honest Tea, Inc.;

  • BlackRock, Inc.’s acquisition of Barclays Global Investors and its acquisition of the hedge fund of funds business of Quellos Holdings, LLC;

  • several transactions involving US Airways Group, Inc. including America West Holdings Corporation’s merger with US Airways Group, Inc. in connection with US Airways’ plan of reorganization;

  • Deutsche Bank AG’s acquisition of Dresdner Bank AG’s global agency securities lending business and its investment in BATS Trading;

  • the sale of Pantone, Inc. to X-Rite Corporation; and

  • Citigroup’s sale of its life insurance and annuity business to MetLife, Inc. and the sale of its asset management business to Legg Mason, Inc.

Mr. Doyle also has advised several of the firm’s financial services clients regarding distribution arrangements. He also has represented the firm’s investment banking clients in transactional work.
