On July 14, Skadden hosted a webinar that focused on the current outlook of renewable energy M&A. Skadden speakers included Washington, D.C. energy and infrastructure projects head Lance Brasher and partner Ethan Schultz, as well as Skip Grow, managing director and head of the clean energy group at Morgan Stanley; Michael Poelman, director at PJT Partners; Britta von Oesen, managing director at CohnReznick Capital; and Ray Wood, managing director and head of the global natural resources group at BofA Securities. The panelists examined current issues and trends impacting the market, including anticipated drivers of renewable energy M&A, deals that are attractive to SPACs and the long-term fallout from the Texas winter storm, among other topics.
