Skadden held five e-learning sessions on important and evolving areas in cybersecurity as part of National Cybersecurity Awareness Month. The programs focused on the impact of the SEC’s rules on cybersecurity risk management; European and U.S. cyber, data privacy and AI developments; cybersecurity leadership in the age of generative AI; and balancing regulation, incentivization and collaboration. Skadden speakers included cybersecurity and data privacy co-heads William Ridgway and David Simon; partners Anita Bandy, Brian Breheny, Ken Kumayama and Mike Leiter; and counsel Pramode Chiruvolu, Josh Silverstein and Eve-Christie Vermynck. External speakers included representatives from AT&T, Barclays, Broadcom, Carlyle Group, Chevron, CISO Global, Coca-Cola, the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, Lucid, LVMH Group and the U.S. Cyberspace Solarium Commission. Additionally, we hosted a fireside chat with former U.S. national cyber director Chris Inglis.
