Skadden Tops 2015 Chambers USA Rankings; Tax Group and Peter Allan Atkins Honored
In the latest edition of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business (May 2015), Skadden received the most top rankings among law firms, including:
- 68 Band 1 attorney rankings.
- 36 Band 1 practice rankings.
- Five "Star Individual" rankings.
Skadden also received a 2015 Chambers USA "Award for Excellence" for having the nation's top tax practice. In addition, New York M&A partner Peter Allan Atkins was honored with the "Lifetime Achievement Award" for his accomplishments and continuing work as "one of the world's foremost authorities on corporate and securities law."
Corporate Board Member: 2015 'America's Best Corporate Law Firms'
For the 15th consecutive year, Skadden has been named the top U.S. law firm in Corporate Board Member magazine's annual survey of "America's Best Corporate Law Firms" (May 2015), which asked directors of publicly traded companies what firms they would "most likely turn to for corporate legal matters of national scope."
Who's Who Legal Awards: 'Investigations Firm of the Year'
For the second year in a row, Skadden was named "Investigations Firm of the Year" at the global Who's Who Legal Awards, in Washington, D.C. (April 27, 2015).
'BTI Brand Elite 2015: Client Perceptions of the Best-Branded Law Firms'
For the fourth consecutive year, Skadden took the top spot in a report that identifies law firms with the strongest brands. The "BTI Brand Elite 2015: Client Perceptions of the Best-Branded Law Firms" report (April 2015) is based on almost 650 interviews with corporate counsel at companies with an average revenue of $17.5 billion, according to BTI Consulting Group, Inc.
