Two Los Angeles partners have been named to The Daily Journal’s "Top 100," an annual list of California’s leading lawyers: Los Angeles office leader and corporate partner Brian McCarthy and litigation partner Tom Nolan. Mr. McCarthy was recognized for his work on behalf of Freedom Communications Inc., and Mr. Nolan was honored for his representation of Toyota Motor Corp. and Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc. in ongoing litigation.

The publication highlighted Ms. Corman's work on the employment aspects of Broadcom Corp.'s acquisition of Broadlight Inc. and her volunteer participation in the Civil Referee Assisted Settlement Hearing (CRASH) program at the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Labor and Employment partner Karen Corman was named to the Daily Journal's list of "Top 75 Labor & Employment Lawyers" in California. The publication outlined Ms. Corman's work on the labor and employment aspects of HCP, Inc.'s $6.1 billion acquisition of the real estate assets of HCR ManorCare Services, Inc., and gave a comprehensive overview of her practice.
Litigation partner Richard Marmaro was named among The National Law Journal's list of "Most Influential Lawyers" during the past five years. Mr. Marmaro was acknowledged in the area of White Collar Defense for his work defending former Broadcom CFO William Ruehle in the high-profile stock options backdating case brought by the federal government.
