Skadden’s Global Diversity Coordinating Committee facilitates the implementation of proactive recruitment, retention and promotion policies that increase diversity in all of the firm’s offices and practice groups. In addition, the committee monitors existing policies and practices to ensure they remain consistent with, and actively promote, the diversity and inclusion goals of the firm.
The committee is led by three co-chairs, including two practice leaders, and spans the globe, with partners and of counsel in the U.S., Europe and Asia serving as members, including, as ex officio members, a partner on our Policy Committee (the firm’s highest governing body) and the global chairs of our Hiring, Associate Development, Partner Selection and Client Development Committees.
