New York intellectual property and technology partner Jose Esteves spoke at PLI’s conference titled Understanding the Intellectual Property License 2012 on December 11 in San Francisco. Mr. Esteves discussed antitrust issues in licensing, including distinguishing between horizontal and vertical licenses, restrictions in IP licenses, and differences between the application of U.S. and EU antitrust law to IP licenses. There also was a simultaneous webcast of the conference.
