PLI's International Tax Issues 2013

On January 31, Washington, D.C. tax partner Hal Hicks spoke at "International Tax Issues 2013," a PLI seminar held in New York and webcast live. Mr. Hicks joined a panel discussion titled "Cross Border M&A Planning," which focused on acquisitions of foreign targets, acquisitions of U.S. targets with foreign subsidiaries, acquisitions of U.S. targets by foreign multinationals, developments in Internal Revenue Code Sections 367 and 7874, and maximizing use of foreign cash to fund acquisitions.
