Following two years of comprehensive evaluation of U.S. business reorganization laws, the Commission to Study the Reform of Chapter 11 released its final report on December 8. The report addresses numerous aspects of Chapter 11 and recommends, among other key aims, resolving uncertainty and circuit splits under current law by promoting efficiencies and reducing litigation costs.
