Robyn Baggetta has experience representing financial institutions, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in connection with enforcement and regulatory matters, as well as civil and criminal investigations and litigation before the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and various state agencies. Ms. Baggetta has represented medical device manufacturers in actions involving promotion and Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues. In addition, she has experience conducting due diligence on behalf of pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in connection with health care industry transactions. Ms. Baggetta’s practice also includes providing compliance advice to financial institutions regarding consumer financial services and internal controls.

Ms. Baggetta’s pro bono efforts include assisting with an independent internal investigation on behalf of the Council of the District of Columbia regarding a council member’s personal services contracts and earmark grant funding; vetting of a U.S. Supreme Court nominee on behalf of the White House; and serving as primary counsel to a Liberian woman opposed to female genital mutilation in an asylum case before the Baltimore Immigration Court.
