Audrey Koh’s experience includes representing clients in U.S., U.K. and multinational regulatory investigations, including those brought by the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the U.S. Federal Reserve, the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority and various other international regulators.
Ms. Koh has conducted numerous internal investigations and represents clients in cross-border matters, including investigations concerning financial fraud, the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the U.K. Bribery Act. She has represented clients and conducted investigations in a variety of industries and business sectors, such as financial services, pharmaceutical, natural resources and chemicals, real estate, construction, engineering, manufacturing, technology, media and telecommunications, across a range of countries, including the U.K., the U.S., China, Russia, France, Switzerland, Finland, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Ms. Koh regularly advises clients, including corporations and their boards, on anti-bribery, anti-corruption, sanctions and corporate governance compliance, due diligence and related training. Her experience includes numerous reviews of corporate compliance provisions, procedures and structures and advice on their enhancements.
Ms. Koh also has completed a 16-month secondment at the U.K. Serious Fraud Office, where she was an investigative lawyer in the Bribery & Corruption Division. She focused on the prosecution (including negotiation of Deferred Prosecution Agreements) of complex, multi-jurisdictional bribery and corruption cases under the U.K. Bribery Act and its preceding legislation, and successfully defended judicial review proceedings.
