Peter D. Kosiek

Peter Kosiek focuses his practice on the representation of private funds (including private equity funds, hedge funds, hybrid funds and funds of funds) and investment advisers in connection with their formation and ongoing operational needs, and regulatory and compliance issues.

Mr. Kosiek’s experience includes structuring private fund vehicles and their management entities, negotiating secondary transactions and side letter agreements, and advising on fund marketing rules and regulations. Additionally, he advises clients on regulatory matters, including registrations, filings and examinations.

Prior to joining Skadden, Mr. Kosiek served as counsel to a registered adviser of private equity and hedge fund vehicles.
