Rebecca Marcucci is experienced in a broad range of real estate matters, including development projects, acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, financings and leasing.

Ms. Marcucci’s representations include:

  • The New York State Urban Development Corporation (d/b/a Empire State Development) (ESD) in the $4.9 billion Atlantic Yards Land Use Improvement and Civic Project, the largest-ever land use improvement and civic project in Brooklyn, N.Y. Empire State Development entered into agreements with the City of New York, the MTA and the Long Island Rail Road to assemble the 22-acre site, including the Barclays Center, the new home of the Brooklyn Nets and the New York Islanders;
  • The Moynihan Station Development Corporation and ESD in connection with the redevelopment of the James A. Farley Post Office Building and Moynihan Station in Midtown Manhattan;
  • Colony Capital LLC in its construction financing of the Le Barthelemy Hotel and Villas development in St. Barthelemy. Colony Capital was recognized as “Innovator of the Year” in connection with this matter at the 2015 Real Estate Finance & Investment Financing Awards;
  • Silverstein Properties, Inc. in its $139 million sale of the Beekman Tower in New York to Beekman Tower Holdings LLC;
  • Anbang Insurance Group Co., Ltd., for which Skadden acted as lead international and deal counsel in its $1.9 billion acquisition of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel from Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc.; and
  • Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. in connection with the financing of the Loews Seattle Regency Hotel.
