Morgan Petkovich represents and counsels clients in antitrust litigation and advisory issues. She also advises professional and amateur sports organizations on a variety of matters.
Among others, Ms. Petkovich has represented:
- the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in antitrust litigation brought by student-athletes challenging the NCAA’s eligibility rules;
- Teva Pharmaceuticals in a class action and follow-on litigations alleging an anticompetitive reverse-payment settlement regarding the drug Lidoderm;
- Sprint Corporation in connection with a challenge by state attorneys general regarding its acquisition by T-Mobile; and
- Express Scripts and its affiliates in litigations in federal and state court alleging violations of federal antitrust laws and state antitrust and consumer protection laws.
In addition, Ms. Petkovich has represented the National Football League in player-related system arbitrations and has counseled the National Basketball Association on league matters related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ms. Petkovich also maintains an active pro bono practice, including participating in a reproductive rights impact litigation in federal court and representing tenants in housing repair cases.
