The Los Angeles Real Estate group is seeking a junior associate (class of 2023), to work on a broad range of sophisticated real estate, real estate M&A and private equity transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, syndicated and other loan financings, joint ventures and co-investments, sales/leasebacks, leasing, recapitalizations, restructurings, fund formation and development. The starting base salary for this Los Angeles position is expected to be $225,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.

The Real Estate Group of Skadden advises clients on the full array of complex issues throughout the industry. We represent a wide variety of clients around the world, including developers, lenders, investment banks, pension funds, real estate investment trusts (REITs), private equity funds, investors and major corporations. Our representations include public and private offerings of various types of real estate securities and REITs; securitized lending transactions; leasing on behalf of landlords and tenants; real estate litigation; real estate workouts and restructurings (in and out of bankruptcy); and the development and acquisition of office buildings, hotels, casinos, resorts and shopping centers.
