Skadden has been named "Best Legal Advisors – Asia" in the Global Finance World's Best Investment Bank Awards 2006. Global Finance’s editors, with input from industry analysts, corporate executives and banking consultants, identified the best investment banks and legal advisors in the world, taking into consideration deals announced or completed in the last three quarters of 2005 or the first quarter of 2006. Criteria considered during the judging process included client service and advice, deal-structuring capabilities, efforts to overcome difficult market conditions and innovation. New York corporate finance partner Phyllis Korff accepted the award on behalf of the firm at the June 21 ceremony.
