Skadden is representing Duke Energy Corporation in its sale of a 49% stake in Crescent Resources, LLC to Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund V U.S. and its creation of a joint venture between Duke Energy Corporation and Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund V U.S. (MSREF) with respect to Crescent. Duke Energy also sold a 2% interest in Crescent to its Chief Executive Officer, Arthur W. Fields.
