Skadden Represents Private Equity Consortium in $17.6 Billion Acquisition

Skadden is representing a private equity consortium led by The Blackstone Group in its acquisition of Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. for approximately $17.6 billion. Freescale is a global leader in the design and manufacture of embedded semiconductors for the automotive, consumer, industrial, networking and wireless markets. This is the third-largest private equity deal in history and the largest ever in the technology sector.
