Agere Systems Merges With LSI Logic

Skadden is representing Agere Systems Inc., a manufacturer of semiconductors for communications devices and hard disk drives and a provider of software storage networks, in its $4 billion merger with LSI Logic Corporation, a developer of semiconductors and computer chips and a provider of hardware and software storage networks.
