Morgan Stanley Acquires Stake in Learning Care Group

Skadden is representing Morgan Stanley Private Equity in its US$775 million acquisition of a 60 percent stake in Learning Care Group, Inc. from ABC Learning Centres Limited (Australia). Morgan Stanley Private Equity and ABC Learning Centres have entered into a memorandum of understanding to pursue the transaction. Learning Care will become a 60/40 joint venture between Morgan Stanley Private Equity and ABC Learning Centres and will retain its management and offices. Both Learning Care and ABC Learning Centres are providers of child care and educational services.
