Marubeni Acquires Stake in Chilean Copper Mining Companies

Skadden is representing Marubeni Corporation (a manufacturer of industrial, agricultural and energy products in Japan) in its approximately $1.3 billion acquisition of a 30% stake in two copper mining companies in Chile from Antofagasta plc, a metal and mining company in Chile.
