Skadden is representing BTG Investments, L.P. in its approximately $2.5 billion acquisition of Banco UBS Pactual S.A., a Brazilian investment bank, from UBS AG. The entity resulting from the acquisition, to be named BTG Pactual, will be one of the largest independent investment banks headquartered in the emerging markets. The deal was announced on April 20.
