Integrated Pipeline Services Completes Acquisition of Sheehan Pipe Line Construction Co.

Skadden represented Integrated Pipeline Services, Inc. in its acquisition of Sheehan Pipe Line Construction Company. The deal closed on July 1. Integrated Pipeline Services is a Houston-based holding company formed by GFI Energy Ventures LLC to provide a full range of engineering, procurement, construction and related services to the oil and gas energy industry. Los Angeles-based GFI is co-general partner with Oaktree Capital Management of the approximately $1.5 billion OCM/GFI Power Opportunity Funds. Sheehan, founded in 1903, is the oldest pipeline construction company in the United States and has completed approximately 30,000 miles of pipelines across the U.S. since inception.
