Skadden ranked first in M&A — both globally and in the United States — for 2009, according to year-end league tables from both Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters. Skadden ranked first by two yardsticks: As counsel to principals (in both the U.S. and globally) and in any advisory role (in both the U.S. and globally).
