On Sept. 22, five partners were named to the Daily Journal’s “Top 100,” an annual list of California’s leading lawyers, and two partners were named to the publication’s newly conceived list of the “Ten Top Lawyers of the Decade.”
Corporate partner Kenton King and litigation partner Richard Marmaro were named two of the “Ten Top Lawyers of the Decade” for their roles as attorneys "who played crucial roles in some of the seminal moments of the decade." In addition to Mr. King and Mr. Marmaro, the 2010 “Top 100” list included corporate partners Brian McCarthy and Nick Saggese, and litigation partner Thomas Nolan. Each was cited for leadership in transactions, restructurings or litigation over the past year. Skadden received more mentions that any other firm.
