PAETEC to Acquire Cavalier Telephone

Skadden is representing PAETEC Holding Corp., which will acquire Cavalier Telephone Corporation in an all-cash $460 million transaction. The deal was announced on Sept. 13, 2010. Cavalier is a privately held company whose majority owner is M/C Venture Partners, a private equity firm. PAETEC is one of the largest local communication service providers in the United States.
