Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Settles 9/11 Insurance Claims

Skadden represented the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in its settlement of property damage and loss of revenue insurance claims arising from the events of 9/11 and the destruction of the World Trade Center with all its insurers. After nine years of litigation, on Sept. 17, Judge Barbara Jones of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York dismissed in their entirety the two consolidated coverage actions pending in the S.D.N.Y.
