Travelers to Acquire Interest in Brazil’s J. Malucelli

Skadden represented The Travelers Companies, Inc. in its approximately $370 million joint venture agreement to acquire a 43 percent stake in J. Malucelli Participações em Seguros e Resseguros S.A., the market leader in the Brazilian surety insurance business. The deal was announced on November 4.
