Skadden Named One of Law360’s 2011 Pro Bono Winners

For the second consecutive year, Skadden was recognized as one of Law360’s Pro Bono Firms of 2011 (July 8). The selected firms earned this recognition for dedicating an average of more than 100 hours of pro bono work per attorney from mid-2010 to mid-2011, and for taking on — and sometimes helping overturn — controversial laws and government policy, representing death row inmates and obtaining relief for Holocaust victims, asylum seekers, tenants facing eviction and others in need of legal counsel.
