Skadden was presented with the 2011 Law and Society Award of the Urban Justice Center’s Community Development Project on September 22. The award was in recognition of two pro bono cases the firm’s New York and London attorneys won on behalf of immigrant workers, including a landmark trial victory for 11 Chinatown restaurant workers denied minimum wage, overtime and the right to keep their tips from their employer.
