U.S. Supreme Court Hears Arguments in Double Jeopardy Case

Skadden argued before the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of pro bono client Alex Blueford, who is seeking review of an Arkansas Supreme Court ruling that he believes violates the Fifth Amendment’s Double Jeopardy Clause. On February 22, partner Cliff Sloan argued on behalf of Blueford; a decision in the case is expected by June 2012.
