California Statute Struck Down as Unconstitutional

Skadden won a major victory for Christie’s, Inc. on May 17. The U.S. District Court for the Central District of California granted its motion to dismiss a class action asserting claims under the California Resale Royalties Act and struck down the statute for violating the dormant Commerce Clause.
