Skadden received the “Best Mentoring Program” and “Law Firm of the Year: U.S. Northeast” awards at the inaugural Euromoney “Americas Women in Business Law Awards,” held on May 24. The awards honor law firms and individual attorneys who have contributed to the advancement of women in the legal profession. New York partners Julie Bédard (“Best in Commercial Arbitration”) and Stacy Kanter (“Best in Capital Markets”) were honored for their professional accomplishments during the past year, as well as their impact on and success in their respective areas of law. Ten Skadden attorneys were finalists in their respective practices, more than any other firm.
