For the third consecutive year, Skadden was recognized as one of Law360’s “Pro Bono Firms of 2012” (September 12). The selected firms received this recognition for dedicating an average of more than 100 hours of pro bono work per attorney from mid-2011 to mid-2012. Citing an “eagerness of hundreds of its attorneys to give something back,” Law360 noted that Skadden earned this year’s award “by putting together an impressive list of successes over the past year in cases that ranged from securing asylum for a Palestinian man who had been tortured by Hamas to having a death sentence for a Mississippi man vacated.”
