The Latin Business Chronicle has selected Skadden partners Richard Aldrich, Paola Lozano and Paul Schnell among its 2013 "Latin Legal Stars," the publication's annual list of the top 50 lawyers working throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
Among other matters, Mr. Aldrich, who is the firm's São Paulo office leader, was cited for his work on a number of high-profile Brazilian initial public offerings, including Banco BTG's IPO. Ms. Lozano, who heads the firm’s Spanish language corporate practice, was noted for her role in many recent deals in Latin America, including MetLife's acquisition of AFP Provida. Mr. Schnell, who chairs Skadden's Latin America practice, was listed for his significant experience in cross-border M&A activity in the region, including Anheuser-Busch InBev's proposed acquisition of the remaining stake in Grupo Modelo it does not already own.
