Carrie LeRoy Creates Social Media Initiative for Teens

As reported by Recorder on Dec. 20, 2013, Palo Alto intellectual property and technology counsel Carrie LeRoy created an innovative pro bono initiative, "Know Your Rights and Know the Law: Sexual and Social Media Misconduct," which provides legal guidance to high school students in the area of cyberbullying, sexual assault and social media. The program, part of Skadden's Pro Bono Impact initiative, is offered in cooperation with the nonprofit Legal Advocates for Children and Youth, a program of the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley.
