New York pro bono counsel Brenna DeVaney was presented with the Abely Pro Bono Achievement Award by Sanctuary for Families' Center for Battered Women's Legal Services on September 22. Ms. DeVaney was honored for her advocacy against sexualized violence and staunch support of Sanctuary for Families and its clients, including victims of domestic violence and their children. She is past chair of the organization's Pro Bono Council and a current member of its Legal Advisory Council.
