On January 24, Skadden secured the dismissal of a federal lawsuit on behalf of Youku Tudou Inc. on the ground that the court lacked personal jurisdiction over Youku. Judge Randolph D. Moss of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia dismissed the complaint by Triple Up Limited, which had asserted claims for copyright infringement arising from the alleged hosting of certain Taiwanese films on Youku's website.
