NFL Clubs Secure Summary Judgment in Players' Medication Case

Skadden and its co-counsel secured a victory for the member clubs of the National Football League, ending a case filed by 13 retired NFL players on behalf of a putative class of retired players. On July 21, Judge William Alsup of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California granted the member clubs' motion for summary judgment.
