TAMKO Wins Pair of Motions to Compel Arbitration in Class Actions

Two U.S. district judges — in the Middle District of Florida and the Southern District of Illinois — granted TAMKO’s motions to compel arbitration of certain named plaintiffs’ claims against the company. The plaintiffs had filed class action suits alleging that their TAMKO shingles prematurely failed due to inherent defects in the shingles’ design.
