New York international litigation and arbitration partner Jennifer Permesly, who serves as Global Advisory Board (GAB) relations chair for the New York International Arbitration Center, has organized a series of interviews with prominent arbitration practitioners who comprise the GAB.
Ms. Permesly interviewed arbitrator Eric Schwartz on the growth of New York arbitration, as well as arbitrators Jerry Aksen and George Bermann to hear their thoughts on the state of arbitration and advice to counsel appearing before them. She also spoke to Hong Kong-based GAB members Neil Kaplan and Chiann Bao to learn more about how Hong Kong achieved its prominence as an arbitration seat, best tips for case management and their views on how the COVID-19 crisis will impact international arbitration.
