On July 29, Skadden secured the dismissal with prejudice of a putative class action filed against Toshiba Corporation in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. The case asserted claims of negligence, breach of contract and tortious interference with a contract in connection with the construction of two nuclear power units by a former indirect subsidiary of Toshiba.
