Skadden is advising a special committee of the board of directors of Select Medical on the company’s $3.9 billion take-private acquisition by a consortium led by Robert A. Ortenzio; Martin F. Jackson; and Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe.
The merger agreement was unanimously approved by the disinterested members of Select Medical’s board of directors upon the recommendation of the special committee.
