We offer doctoral candidates who have successfully passed the first state exam the opportunity to work as research assistants. Research assistants support specific practice areas and are treated similarly to referendars. They are welcome to attend the majority of attorney training sessions and are assigned to an associate mentor who coordinates legal work and provides feedback. With respect to their work schedule, we are flexible and can adapt to their needs, such as part-time or interlocked models.
- Research assistants with 1st State Exam are paid €900 per weekly working day (voluntary bonus of up to 20 percent).
- Research assistants with 2nd State Exam are paid €1,125 per weekly working day (voluntary bonus of up to 20 percent).
