James S. Stringfellow represents issuers, underwriters, placement agents, lenders, agents, investment advisors, collateral managers, investors and other partici­pants in a variety of public and private structured finance transactions.

Bio

Mr. Stringfellow’s structured finance experience includes credit card, auto loan and other receivable securitizations; collateralized loan obligation transactions and other collateralized debt obligation transactions (including cash flow, market value and synthetic type transactions); financings of investment funds; whole business securitizations; sports league structured financings; commercial loan securitizations; commercial and residential mortgage loan securitizations; resecuritizations and repackagings of various financial assets and derivative products; and asset-backed commercial paper transactions. He also has acted as counsel in connection with traditional corporate finance transactions.

Mr. Stringfellow was named Best Lawyers’ 2023 New York City Securitization and Structured Finance Law Lawyer of the Year. He also has been repeatedly selected for inclusion in Chambers Global: The World’s Leading Lawyers for Business and Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business.
