On March 13, Skadden presented “Risks and Challenges for Boards Today,” the fourth and final program in our 2018-19 SEC Reporting & Compliance and Corporate Governance Series. The program focused on identifying and managing emerging risks in today’s rapidly evolving and increasingly unpredictable global business environment. Skadden speakers included securities enforcement and compliance head Colleen Mahoney and litigation partner William Ridgway. Other panelists included Rick Hansen, assistant general counsel and corporate secretary at General Motors Corporation, and Deborah Steiner, executive vice president, general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary at R.R.
