Partners Marc Gerber, Raquel Fox and William Ridgway, counsel Caroline Kim and associate Ryan Adams participated in the Society for Corporate Governance’s 2021 Eastern Regional Fall Conference on October 7.
Mr. Gerber moderated and Ms. Kim and Mr. Adams served as panelists for a session titled “Lessons Learned From the 2021 Annual Meeting and Reporting Season,” exploring topics such as shareholder proposal trends, ESG disclosures, changes to MD&A and risk factor disclosures, virtual meetings and the impact of board diversity requests.
Ms. Fox moderated and Mr. Ridgway served as a panelist during a session titled “The SEC’s Renewed Cybersecurity Focus,” exploring how public companies are addressing cyber challenges and the SEC’s increasing focus on companies’ disclosure of threats and incidents.
