U.S. Customs Compliance Boot Camp 2012

Washington, D.C. international trade counsel Soo-Mi Rhee spoke at the “U.S. Customs Compliance Boot Camp,” a seminar presented by the American Conference Institute on November 27-28 in Washington, D.C. Ms. Rhee joined a panel discussion titled “Record Keeping: Who, What, When, Where, and How to Retain Effective Customs Records, and Use ACE,” which covered topics such as key record-keeping requirements and common areas of noncompliance, what happens if you don’t have the required records, who should keep your customs records and when to delegate to a broker, and determining which records are needed for a Customs and Border Protection audit, among others.
