On June 7, mass torts and insurance litigation head John Beisner and partner Jessica Miller participated in a conference titled "Forum on Class Actions and Aggregate Litigation" in Philadelphia. The event explored such cutting-edge issues as the effects of the Supreme Court’s recent blockbuster class action rulings; ethics and challenges of class action settlements and public compensation funds; and the evolving role of arbitrators and attorneys general in aggregate litigation, among others. Mr. Beisner discussed "The Evolving Requirements of Rule 23" as well as "The Unsettled Questions About the Class Action Fairness Act." Ms. Miller was a member of the program planning committee for the event.
