Tenth Annual Comprehensive Conference on Energy in the Southwest

Washington, D.C. Energy Regulation and Litigation Group leader Mike Naeve participated in Law Seminars International’s "Annual Comprehensive Conference on Energy in the Southwest," held in Santa Fe, N.M. The conference provided a comprehensive look at the latest developments in the energy industry across the Southwest, coupled with expert analysis of financial and regulatory trends at both the federal and state level. Key topics of discussion included the issues surrounding coal, natural gas, renewable energy, climate change, regional haze, clean energy and the creation of municipal utilities, the trade-off between distributed generation and new transmission projects, and updating the regulatory model. On July 15, Mr. Naeve gave a presentation titled “What to Expect for Energy Policy Development in the Congress.”
